Back in February of 2019, I went to Detroit to attend the Michigan Pharmacist Association Annual Convention and Exposition. If you’ve never gone to a conference, then you need to get out more!
I got the opportunity to talk to a few fellow technicians and a couple of pharmacist friends. You never know who you are going to meet, and one of them might be your future boss! The other advantage of meeting and talking with your colleagues is that you get a chance to take something back for your practice. This may be a new perspective, a new idea, or awareness of new policies that you have to follow. I hope I see a few of you next year when I go.
